@DIY Dandelion Gardener's Salve Recipe || Frugal Living Series
My hands take a beating this time of year. don't go buy chemical laden creams from the drug store! I will show you how we remove dandelion petals and make a soothing salve. These type of organic salves made from wild foraged herbs can run as much a $6/oz. I made these for approximately $1.25/oz. with all natural and organic ingredients. No preservatives or chemicals needed! Dandelion Gardener's Salve Recipe 1-1 1/2 cups dehydrated dandelion petals Equal parts apricot kernel oil and avocado oil to cover petals (approximately 1/2 cup each) 1 cup coconut oil 2 round Tablespoons organic beeswax pastilles or grated beeswax essential oils - I used 10 drops marjoram to help reduce inflammation and 15 drops wild orange to soothe and give renewed vigor Yield is approximately 16 oz. I used 4 oz canning jars for storage. Thanks for watching! Keep up the conversation with us...
