In this video, I will share 2 yummy recipes to help boost your immunity and help keep you healthy! One is a creamy, dreamy smoothie and the other is a tasty light lunch or snack. To watch this video, click on the link here: https://youtu.be/d1wzvR8fvcI YUMMY GREEN-GINGER SMOOTHIE: INGREDIENTS/DIRECTIONS: 2 frozen bananas, 1/2 a large cucumber peeled (optional, can leave on) Cut them into 2" chunks. 3 stalks celery each cut into thirds. 1 1/2 handfuls of spring lettuce. 2 cups milk (we prefer nut milks). BLEND. Then add 2 scoops plant based vanilla pea protein powder. Add about 1 1/2 - 2 teaspoons of ground ginger. BLEND. Pour into cup and sprinkle ground tumeric on top. Can be stirred in if desired. Makes 2 servings. APPLE-RADISH-GUAC ON TOAST INGREDIENTS: 1 small semi-sweet-tart apple. I prefer Pink Lady. Cut into thin slices. About 5-6 radishes. Cut into thin slices. 1/4 cup water. 2 slices of bread (we eat gluten free). and either use home-made or ready-made guacamole. We used a chunky mild one. No additional seasoning needed! DIRECTIONS: Put apples and radishes in frying pan with 1/4 cup water. Cover with tight lid. Cook on Medium heat until tender and cooked through. Make toast. Generously spread guacamole on toast and top with apples and radishes. YUM!!
