Rob Blakemore's video: Peace One Day - Flashmob in Trafalgar Square 21st September 2014

@Peace One Day - Flashmob in Trafalgar Square (21st September 2014)
The Pandemonium Drummers (the group who performed in the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics) were delighted to perform for Peace Day (21st Sept) in a choreographed Flashmob in Trafalgar Square, working alongside Tom Morley (drummer from 70's/80's band Scritti Politti). They were joined by the JCI Dance Team, and members of the previously unsuspecting public... The event was raised awareness of the 'Peace One Day' initiative. The central idea of 'Peace One Day' is that for one day, all people in all conflicts should observe peace. Countries at war will ceasefire. In our personal/home life too - people will make amends with loved ones as well as enemies. This initiative has seen tremendously positive results over recent years, with millions taking part globally. And it begs the question, if One Day is possible, why not 2 days, then 4 days, any why not more? The Trafalgar Square Flashmob followed the Peace One Day London conference, organised by JCI.
