The opening of the new extension of the Robert W. Service school at Lancieux is giving the start of exchanges between the Robert William Service elementary schools of Lancieux (France) and the one located at Dawson City (Yukon). Pupils will be encouraged to send each others short videos in French and English like I did here. Located near to the two hall of Lancieux, the school has been named Robert W. Service in 2002 to celebrate the well known poet but also as benefactor for the school during his lifetime, for school books, the christmas tree... A short message and a poem read by Charlotte Service-Longépé, his great granddaughter, at Lancieux, by a Sunday afternoon of December 2020.
