Freely moving between popular culture as much as the avant garde with total ease. An artist across mediums of music, installations, dance, film and more. His work is geared towards bodies in community as functional and vital cultural backdrops for experience. Music: Mount Liberation Unlimited Mount Liberation Unlimited is the creative brainchild of Tom and Niklas, two Stockholm-based Swedes from space who've spent the last 5 years carving out a particularly vivid and organic niche in electronic music. Cinematography: Adam Nilsson Adam Nilsson’s distinct photography has a broad scope from award winning documentary filming to experimental and impressive music videos. Working with the likes of Lykke Li and First Aid Kit and well known directors like Johan Söderberg as well as experimenting with his craft in installation work and more. Scenography: Fredrik Paulsen Award winning furniture designer Fredrik Paulsen's work has notions of anti-consumerism, psychedelic escapism and counterculture. It celebrates atmosphere and artificiality through material, colour and form. With a playful approach to the carefree and mundane, he experiments with creative processes challenging the sense of preciousness inherent to the field of design. ————————————————————————————————————————— ABOUT THE WORK Jac Carlsson about the video: Creating something that was at once both powerfully human and intimately sensual as a way to display soft masculinity as a needed quality, breaking away from the heteronormative with playfulness and a new kind of rock n roll attitude was the aim here. Relying on the long ongoing work I’ve done together with cinematographer Adam Nilsson, it felt natural and inspiring to share space, time and creativity with the talented duo of Mount Liberation Unlimited, designer Fredrik Paulsen and everyone on the team. Mount Liberation Unlimited about the music: On the last MLU tour we entered through a portal somewhere on the borders of southeast Asia and Oceania. This music is what came out on the other end of that tunnel. It's dreamlike state symbolises our return to a different world and the liminal space occupied between beach parties and worldwide isolation. ——————————————————————————————————————————
