RocketSpots's video: Walking Through Chico State Episode 5: Sutter Hall

Here is a fun, quick little video series we did for the Chico State Housing Office. While they loved the videos we did on their residential halls in 2011, they wanted videos that highlighted the students that lived in the halls. We brainstormed, and they went with an almost Conan O'Brien style walk and talk tour through the halls, with Chico State's own Jeff, the Awkward Freshman. The idea of these videos is to send them to incoming students who are having a hard time deciding which hall to live in. They've each got their own vibe, so the only way to really communicate the feel of each was to barge in and meet the students. We think it worked out pretty well. That's why we've grabbed Jeff, the Awkward Freshman and followed him as he walks through the various residential communities of Chico State. In Episode 5, our long suffering hero, Jeff the Awkward Freshman, fights off a shark, saves two presidents, and tours Chico State's newest residence hall, Sutter Hall. Also, we may have cut all the footage that does not relate to Sutter Hall. It's a building constructed around sustainable living, and boasts a LEED Gold certification.
