@Deeper Into The Darkness Cover Reveal
Cover Reveal of Deeper Into The Darkness - the 3rd book in Rod Macdonald's diving trilogy. Vol I, Into the Abyss, began the story in the 1980's with Rod as a novice diver, with the rookie mistakes and wonder of starting diving. As Rod's interest in shipwrecks develops, readers are taken through all the adventures and mishaps of exploring shipwrecks in the deep air era. Vol II, The Darkness Below, took the story forward as the sport of technical diving was born and divers began to use helium mixed gases and accelerated decompression techniques that almost overnight allowed them to venture far further offshore and discover countless shipwrecks, lost for aeons. There is also a particularly scary dive into the Corryvreckan Whirlpool, the 3rd largest in the world. Vol III, Deeper Into The Darkness, is due for release in April 2018 and takes the story bang up to date with the use of mixed gas Closed Circuit Rebreathers. The book covers some of the most famous WWI naval shipwrecks around the UK as well as revealing what its really like deep inside the Japanese WWII shipwrecks of Truk Lagoon, Palau and Guadalcanal. The latest developments in technical diving conclude the book. The cover is revealed today.
