Roger Barnes's video: Sailing at summer s ending

@Sailing at summer's ending
A three day equinoctial cruise in company by four dinghies in les Pertuis Charentais, Charente-Maritime, France, including a 40 nm "challenge" passage on the first day. Here is some more information which may be helpful. INCIDENTAL MUSIC "Midsommar" by Scott Buckley www.scottbuckley.com.au CHANTIER MER The innovative boat designs of Gilles Montaubin https://chantiermer.wordpress.com MONOTYPE DES PERTUIS https://www.facebook.com/MonotypedesPertuis/ WAYFARER DINGHY https://wayfarer.org.uk MY BOAT Do you want a boat like mine? She is 15ft long, an adapted Ilur designed by François Vivier, and built of clinker plywood by les Charpentiers Reunis of Cancale in 1994. The design is based closely on the traditional inshore fishing boats of Brittany, including her single boom-less lugsail rig and lack of a mainsheet horse, (controversial among my viewers). Although rare in Britain, Ilurs are quite common in France. http://www.vivierboats.com/en/ Similar dinghies can often be found for sale in the French magazine le Chasse-Marée https://www.chasse-maree.com/revue/ Or try Le Bon Coin, (where you can buy anything in France).
