Rohan Khandelwal's video: iBreastExam iBE - a novel breast lump screening tool

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Indian women. Breast cancer in India peaks around 45 years of age and in young patients mammography is not very sensitive due to dense breast tissue (there is no advantage of doing mammography till 40 years of age). iBE (iBreastExam) is a simple, hand held device, which can detect breast lumps within 7-8 minutes. As compared to mammography, it is painless and cheap. At the same time, it is not a substitute for mammography or ultrasound. If a lump is detected on iBE, patient would require those modalities to confirm the nature of the lump.
