Ron Blau's video: Ultimate Oil Rig interview

First, a mea culpa: Today, I would turn down an offer to produce a program glorifying oil rigs in a millisecond. But in 2005, though knew full well that climate change was a looming issue, I believed that we had time and that government and industry would find solutions. How naive! I produced "Ultimate Oil Rigs" for the National Geographic Channel series Megastructures. You can find a pirate copy of the whole 2005 program somewhere on YouTube. This video is simply Barry Nolan interviewing me on a local Boston show before the broadcast. Footnote: In 2012, I attended Bill McKibben and Naomi Klein's "Do the Math" tour and realized how naive I'd been. Since then, I've been active in 350 Mass and other organizations dealing with our insane resistance to getting real about the climate.
