Before I begin this news, Breaking News just coming in Aryan Khan will remain in jail for the next 5 days until next Tuesday, 26th Oct which is when the Bombay High Court will hear his bail application If you thought that Aryan's Khan arrest and incarceration have been going on for long and he is due for bail now, then think again. There's more trouble brewing for him and others, as the arrested accused in the cruise ship drugs case, are spilling the beans to the Narcortics control bureau. In fresh developments today, the NCB teams carried out raids in Mumbai's Andheri are which is a hub of Bollywood celebs. The raids were conducted after the NCB got crucial leads from one of the accused, in the cruise ship drugs case. An NCB team has reached Ananya Pandey and Chunky Pandey’s residence at Khar West in Mumbai. The NCB teams went to Ananya Pandey’s residence in connection with the Aryan Khan’s drugs case and asked her to join their probe. This is reportedly based on some Whatsapp chats between her and Aryan Khan. In another shocking development, a team from the NCB also reached Shah Rukh Khan's residence ‘Mannat,’ just hours, after he visited his son Aryan Khan at the Arthur Road jail. It is not clear whether the NCB team visited SRK's residence, to serve summons or make searches in the drugs case. SRK spent around 20 minutes at the Arthur Road jail and did not talk to the media at all. SRK and Gauri Khan had spoken with their son on a video call last Friday. Yesterday, a special NDPS court rejected Aryan Khan's, Arbaz Merchants and Munmun Dhamecha's bail application. The court denied bail to Aryan Khan, saying his WhatsApp chats appeared to reveal his involvement in "illicit drug activities". The court order read, "WhatsApp chats prima facie reveals accused Aryan Khan is dealing in illicit drug activities, for narcotic substances on regular basis. Therefore, it cannot be said that Aryan Khan is not likely to commit similar offence while on bail." The court also said that the material placed, on record, points to a "nexus" between Aryan Khan and suppliers and peddlers. The court said that though no drugs were found on Aryan Khan, he knew about six grams of charas, hidden in his friend Arbaaz Merchant's shoe and this amounted to "conscious possession". "Accused 1&2 (that is Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant) are friends since long. They travelled together and they were apprehended together, at the international cruise terminal. Further, in their voluntary statements, both of them disclosed, that they were possessing the said substance for their consumption and for enjoyment. Thus, all these things go to show that Aryan Khan was having knowledge of the contraband concealed, by the 2 in his shoes," the court said. According to the NCB, Aryan has been consuming drugs for many years. Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun's lawyers are now preparing frantically to move the Bombay High Court for bail, and an early hearing of the same. Aryan Khan and others were detained on October 3rd and later arrested after the NCB raided the Cordelia cruise ship off the Mumbai coast that was bound for Goa. The NCB is in no mood to let go just yet and it continues its crackdown against consumers, suppliers and financers of the illicit drug trafficking in the country, especially from Bollywood and beyond. When they nab one accused, it leads them to 10 others, as the interrogation reveals links within links. In just the last one year, since Sushant Singh Rajput's death, the NCB has arrested and questioned several celebrities, on what it calls the "Bollywood-drugs" nexus that emerged as an offshoot of the investigations into Sushant's death, on June 14th 2020.
