Ronin Wong's video: Vincent Starry Starry Night - Don McLean cover

@Vincent (Starry Starry Night) - (Don McLean cover)
My D'Aquisto insisted on being used for another cover. For fans of the Cypress Street Band, don't worry. More band songs are on their way. I've just decided to a couple of acoustic guitar covers of my favourite songs. This is one of the great joys of having Youtube channel. Along with Blackbird, this was one of my early favourites featuring acoustic guitar. I learned these songs quite a while ago, before there was a Youtube. More recently, I have had the pleasure to teaching these to a number of my students. Music Lessons: http://www.gopherp.com/MusicLessons.htm According to Wikipedia: "Vincent" is a song by Don McLean written as a tribute to Vincent van Gogh. It is also known by its opening line, "Starry Starry Night", a reference to Van Gogh's painting The Starry Night. The song also describes different paintings done by the artist. McLean wrote the lyrics in 1971 after reading a book about the life of the artist.[1] The following year, the song became the number one hit in the U.K. and No. 12 in the U.S.[2] In the US, "Vincent" also peaked at number two on the Easy Listening chart.[3]
