We spent a week in Chiang Rai visiting some of the most incredible temples we have ever seen in our lives! We visited Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple. This temple is absolute astounding. It is easily the best temple we have every visited. The details in the art and sculptures are amazing. Following this we visited the Blue Temple also known as Wat Rong Seur Ten. This temple is just as impressive though it has a more traditional feel to it. If you want to visit a temple with a much more authentic vibe consider the Temple of the Emerald Buddha also called Wat Phra Kaew. Chiang Mai isn't just about temples though. If you are all templed out there are a bunch of waterfalls nearby as well as markets and street food galore. We tried to visit as many of these palces as we could in our time there.
