One of the popular things to do in Camiguin is to visit the Old Church Ruins at Catarman. The church was originally built by the Spanish in the 16th century. The roof and everything inside was destroyed on May 13 1871 from an earthquake from the nearby erupting Mount Vulcan. Still standing to this day are the sturdy walls of this amazing structure. It doesn't take much time to look over this historic site, and it is well worth stopping for a look. The entry fee is only 10 PHP.
