Finally, the day as arrived when a new era is going to begin on Konkan Railway (Roha-Ratnagiri Electrification). A CRS inspection train departed from CSMT towards Ratnagiri on 31st Mar 2021 at 6:45 AM. In return journey, E-Loco will lead the train in a high speed trial run. As per the arrival time of High Speed CRS Inspection Train, it was supposed to reach CSMT by 9:10 PM on same day, however, the train reached its destination approx. by 7:30-7:45 PM making the CRS inspection trials successful. Soon, we can see trains originating from Mumbai towards Ratnagiri and Madgaon powered by E-Locos.
