Roxane Butterfly's video: PARIS SUMMER TAP DANCE INTENSIVE 2022

This is the 4th edition of the traditional J.S.I (Jimmy Slyde Institute) workshops held in Paris, since tap-dance choreographer Roxane Butterfly has relocated from Barcelona to the city-of-love. Originally held in the Raval of Barcelona, these "à-la-carte'" tap-dance intensives have drawn students from all over the world for over a decade. One of the few direct heirs of the Original Hoofers, (she was mentored by legendary Jimmy Slyde), Roxane teaches tap from its african-american historical perspective.
