Synthony is a unique collaboration between Orchestra, DJs, live vocalists and musicians. It’s a celebration of Dance Music, featuring the biggest dance anthems over the last 30 years, with the full might of the Perth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams. The super-charged and energetic Synthony will showcase the biggest dance anthems from icons such as Avicii, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim, Fisher and Faithless to name just a few, backed by a 60+ piece orchestra. The show is stacked with special guests from across the Australian music scene including Miss Connie (Sneaky Sound System), Ilan Kidron (The Potbelleez), Emily Williams, Ella Monnery, Greg Gould, Mobin Master, Andy Van (Madison Avenue /Vicious Records) and Mark Dynamix. And after sell out shows in Melbourne and Brisbane, it’s finally coming to Perth on Friday 3 September. Here’s what to expect. The Perth Symphony Orchestra will be taking to the stage at RAC Arena, alongside some of Australia’s best DJs and live performers. The whole motley crew will then assault your frontal cortex with dance floor bangers from the last 30 years of electronica. No Mozart, we promise. This year, the brand new line-up features the likes of Avicii, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim and Basement Jaxx, just to name a few. You can also expect lasers, visual effects and everything else it takes to get you and 3,999 other partiers dancing with both hands in the air.
