Royal Canoe's video: Royal Canoe - Glacial Documentary Live Performance

@Royal Canoe - Glacial Documentary + Live Performance
In January of 2020, Royal Canoe performed "Glacial" – a concert featuring re-imagined versions of their songs using only instruments created from ice harvested from local ponds and rivers. Over two sub-zero nights in January, more than 5000 people showed up at The Forks, located in the heart of their beloved hometown of Winnipeg, to witness the project. This is the story of how they built the show from Jan 6th to 31st, as well as selections from the performance itself. 10:04 - Today We're Believers 15:49 - Exodus of the Year 19:19 - Living a Lie 23:28 - Don't 26:36 - What's Left in the River Edited by: Matthew Schellenberg Shot by: B&B Studios and Handcraft Creative Ice Master: Luca Roncoroni All songs arranged and performed by Royal Canoe Royal Canoe is: Brendan Berg Bucky Driedger Michael Jordan Matthew Peters Matthew Schellenberg Live sound by Elliot Filbert with production from Audioworks Audio recording engineered John Paul Peters with assistance from Jad Bantug Mixed by Matthew Peters at The Shithole and his home Mastered by Harris Newman at Grey Market Mastering Ice crystal sound/light trigger system designed and built by Andy Rudolph Stage/ice technician was Matt Dirks Royal Canoe’s Glacial was a project done in collaboration with Sputnik Architecture and The Forks.
