CARLOS TARQUE (lead vocals, harmonica, tambourine, percussion, guitar) and RICARDO RUIPÉREZ (guitars and vocals) of the Spanish rock band M CLAN perform “MAGGIE, DESPIERTA” (2001, from their 1st live album, 4th in their career, “SIN ENCHUFE”), their cover in Spanish of Rod Stewart's great hit "MAGGIE MAY" (1971, from his 3rd album "Every Picture Tells a Story"). First encore in their acoustic concert this year during the “VIVA LA VIDA 2020” Summer Music Festival in Torrelavega (Cantabria, SPAIN). They did not bring their whole band but just the two of them played this very special and fairly intimate unplugged concert, following all security measures, distances, seated audience wearing face masks, and reduced capacity, due to the global Covid19 pandemic. Great organization, and it was very nice to see that in general all the attendees were rather responsible. It meant a ray of hope that live music can still go on lighting us up in the middle of this darkness, and can help us keep a minimum of normalcy, to keep us alive too. Let’s hope M CLAN come back here with their whole band once our world comes back to normal again, hopefully next year! - Wednesday, 22 July 2020. 11:25 pm. "VIVA LA VIDA 2020" music festival, La Lechera Fairgrounds (the old milk factory), Torrelavega, Cantabria (SPAIN). 10 pm. - 12 am. ------------------ CARLOS TARQUE (vocalista, armónica, pandereta, percusión, guitarra) y RICARDO RUIPÉREZ (guitarras y segunda voz) del grupo de rock español M CLAN interpretan “MAGGIE DESPIERTA” (2001, de su 1er álbum en directo, 4to de su carrera, “SIN ENCHUFE”), su versión en español del gran éxito de Rod Stewart "MAGGIE MAY" (1971, aparecido en el 3er álbum de éste "Every Picture Tells a Story"). Primer bis en su concierto acústico este año durante el festival de verano de música “VIVA LA VIDA 2020”, en Torrelavega (Cantabria, ESPAÑA). No trajeron a su banda completa, sino que sólo ellos dos tocaron este concierto acústico tan especial y bastante íntimo, realizado respetando todas las medidas de seguridad, distancias, audiencia sentada y llevando mascarilla, y aforo reducido, debido a la pandemia global del Covid19. Gran organización, y fue agradable comprobar que en general todos los asistentes eran bastante responsables. Significó un rayo de esperanza de que la música en directo puede todavía seguir iluminándonos en medio de esta oscuridad, y que puede ayudarnos a conservar un mínimo de normalidad, para mantenernos vivos también. ¡Esperemos que M CLAN vuelvan aquí con su banda al completo una vez que nuestro mundo vuelva a la normalidad, esperemos que el año que viene! - Miércoles, 22 de julio de 2020. 11:25 pm.
