There are auto-rickshaws outside Panvel station that will take you to the base of Prabalgad. 3. There's a trail of 1.5-2 hours to reach Prabalmachi, which is the base village for both Prabalgad and Kalavantin sister forts. You can relax/prepare for the main trek at this village.
