Hey guys! So we went to Nainital in the first week of December 2018 and the temperature went down to 4 degrees. It usually snows in Nainital by the end of December so we did not experience snow this year. We travelled from Mumbai to Delhi by air and then boarded Ranikhet Express at 9:55 pm to Kathgodam railway station, which is the nearest to Nainital. From Kathgodam, we hired a private cab to our hotel –– Hotel Himalaya –– on Mall Road for Rs 400. The touring to Ghorakhal Temple, Ghorakhal Tea Garden & Factory, Mukteshwar, and Bhimtal was done by a private cab for Rs.1500. Hotel Himalaya also has a sister hotel in Nainital by the name Hotel Pavilion. They also have an in-house bakery 'Baker's Hut'.
