Why do teachers hate their jobs? And why do teachers quit their jobs more than most other jobs? Today I'm sharing 5 reasons why teachers quit (or at least hate) their jobs based on conversations I've had with real teachers when I was a substitute teacher. I don't think so. But what percentage of teachers hate their jobs? About 61% according to one 2012 survey! No wonder teacher retention is so low and teacher burnout is so high!
