Dear Friends Recently during lockdown of two months I have done a study on students who are studying online. After getting responses from 160 plus parents, it was astonishing to know that none of parents and teachers knew ergonomics, in a short period of two months already children developed musculoskeletal pains. These are termed as RSI and CTD which occur in many occupations including studentship. Study also revealed that teachers and parents have no idea of ergonomics and then how can teach children and protect them. In fact ergonomics are not in curriculum of schools. One cannot have a ready made chair which can suit all the children, because children vary in stature and body size.
