Dear Friends Many of us do not understand why we all sleep during the day and sleep during night. It's important to understand why human body has this peculiar pattern is commonly known as biological clock. Human body comes to activity early in the morning as the adrenergic hormones on the rise. Cortisol, adrenaline, noradrenaline, Insulin and Thyroid are the important hormones which are very active during the day. Melanin, Encephalin, Endorphin, Serotonin, growth hormone, Prolactin, and Luteinizing hormones rise in the blood thus repair and recovery activities happen. This the reason why night shift people perform lesser than day shift workers. Today young and old, everybody is engrossed watching devices and missing their sleep. Any change in this biological clock and disturbs the circadian rhythm will lead to serious disturbances in vital hormones. While watching anything bright with our eyes, the information goes to brain via eyes, retina, optic nerve and brain. When we watch mobile screens, monitors of PC and TV during late nights, brain become active and night sleepy, repairing hormones go down and keep the body's engine running. Brain and body gets exhausted finally leads stress and Hypertension. Sleep inadequacy had led many people to commit suicides. Understanding Day and night is so important, hope you sleep well and relax. Good balance of Day and night is responsible for sound health with better stress-coping skills.
