"...Alt dør Alt visner Allting forgår Alt dør..." God Seed - Alt Liv covered on bass, taken from God Seed's debut and only album titled I Begin. After a long time, I uploaded another cover. I had some problems with my hands and so I decided to take a break from uploading covers. This is the first music Gaahl and King put out after leaving Gorgoroth and quite possibly their best. This album along with some other bands were on my daily playlist back in the day, every song was unique, both in the musical aspect and in Gaahl's vocal performance. I'm also happy to see that this continued on with Gaahl's Wyrd debut album. A cover from that album will definetely come at some point. If you haven't checked it out by now, do it, you're missing out on great music. This is also the first cover where I use my new Carvin LB70 bass. I had to sell my B.C. Rich Beast to buy it but the difference between this and the Beast is huge. It's a 1990 model with some factory extras, most notably, the Schaller bridge. The Beast was my dream bass for many years and I never thought I'd buy one. Yet one showed up in the listings and immediately I grabbed it. I was quite dissapointed though since it's quality in terms of fret jop, hardware, paint and overall geometry -which was crooked- was bad. Way too high action even when it was set up by a pro luthier, extreme string tension, frets popping out or ready to come off and although there were no chips in the paint, the paint it self was done really badly. This is some bad Chinese quality right there. Still looking for a Korean NJ though. Hope you'll enjoy this cover!
