SABC's video: The Ladies Club MOONIRA RAMATHULA

With women’s football growing in leaps and bounds, more and more woman are breaking new ground in this popular sport. They are shaking things up and shattering the norms of this male dominated sport. MOONIRA RAMATHULA is a passionate advocate for women’s football and her mission is to encourage girls to participate in the sport. She went from being a soccer mom, cheering every player on the field, to chairperson of the Germiston Local Football Association and founder of Futballing Girls. She recently developed a workshop for female athletes on building and developing their personal brands. She’s an active driver of women’s football in the country, opening up opportunities for girls and young women to participate in sport.
