SABC's video: The Ladies Club PINKY LEDILE MATJEKANE

Former Banyana Banyana player and University of Alabama State University Ledile Noriah Matjekane, also known as Pinky, joins us on The Ladies Club couch to share her journey in sport. Pinky Matjekane was not your typical girl, she started playing football from a very early age in a local boys’ only team called Soshanguve Blizzards. She later joined Zebras Football, a girls’ team. Her personal accolades are remarkable, earning the Basetsana and Banyana callups. At age of 15years, she became the youngest ever player to be selected to represent the Senior Women’s national soccer team. The Soshanguve born athlete studied a degree in Social Sciences (Marketing ) degree from the University of Alabama, United States of America in 2008.
