SABC's video: The Ladies Club ILSE ROETS PELSER

Today on The Ladies Club our conversation is about coaches who are making a vital contribution to the growth of sports. ILSE ROETS-PELSER is well known for her excellence as a coach and has been the coach for South Africa’s national gymnastics teams at the World Championships and Commonwealth Games. She started gymnastics at the age of 5 and trained until 18 years of age. She competed in three world championships and was the African champion on beam several times in her career. She also reached the Commonwealth Games finals on beam, in Victoria Canada in 1994. She bought the Johannesburg Gymnastics Centre in 2001 and since then coaching has been her absolute passion.
