The campaign setting is heavily inspired by Josan Gonzalez's art book called The Future Is Now - Neon Rising (link below - Check it out!) When last we left our punks of the Mortal Code... they had aided the Resistance in crashing THE MACHINE’S execution party at the Wing of Liberty. With the high-priority Resistance captive saved from the clutches of death, our party made to retreat. But not before a deadly run-in with the Minister of Death, a death machine on two massive iron legs. Without the help of the Ronin Warriors gang and the demolition specialist of the Resistance, there may have been a lot more room in Astraea’s faithful ride on the way back to their underground hideout where these punks had a pained but welcomed night’s rest. We pick up now... Bandaged and aching wounds, dried blood flaking off of clothes. - the Mortal Code is on the hunt for medical supplies. The last tip they had coming from the job board in Beggar’s Reach, a delivery job and a driver needed. The client is one RED-Vigor.
