The campaign setting is heavily inspired by Josan Gonzalez' art book called The Future Is Now - Neon Rising (link below - Check it out!) When last we left these punks of the Mortal Code...A runner, named Tip Toes had delivered a message, notifying them that Winslor’s family metal shop "Metal Burden" had been jacked by the Remnants of Dust, a new gang on the outskirts of the city. This news was accompanied by word that The Ministry of Information had been pumping out a message to the whole of Robo City 16. A cryptic message, saying “20:00. WINGS OF LIBERTY. THE MACHINE LOVES YOU”. Our players wasted little time in getting to the metal shop, and even less time planning their advance. As Astraea pulled a shotgun out in the middle of the street and sent the Remnants of dust on high alert. We pick up now... 3 Remnants dead. The 2 left have held up in the Metal Burden shop. The Mortal Code members badly beaten but not defeated. Blood is on the ground, bullets in bodies, and anticipation in the air!
