The campaign setting is heavily inspired by Josan Gonzalez's art book The Future Is Now - Neon Rising (link below - Check it out!) -- When last we left the punks of the Mortal Code...they escaped the warzone of Robo City 16, where they lost a member of the Mortal Code, J, to the Minister of Death. They made a stop at a repair shop outside of the city to fix Bastion, their heavily damaged air car, where they med Tink, a wiley old mechanic, who found a reason to leave his home thanks to the Mortal Code and finally, they ran into the Nomads of the Quasars. A lively group of road warriors led by none other than Infini and Tatra, Astraea’s very own father and mother, respectively. We pick up now...after the Mortal Code decided to travel with the Quasars through the massive rad storm between them and New Samarkand.
