The campaign setting is heavily inspired by Josan Gonzalez's art book The Future Is Now - Neon Rising (link below - Check it out!) -- When last we left the punks of the Mortal Code...They had made it out of the chaos stricken Robo City 16 and into the ruined wastes, where a new kind of chaos lurks. As only Astraea has any experience living outside of The Machine’s territory. Their air car having taken considerable damage was in dire need of repairs before their trek into the perpetual and powerful rad storm between them and New Samarkand, the mobile city far to the East that they are to take Edena, the whimsical and mysterious child to. Thankfully Winslor remembered that his family used to do business with a repair shop and junk yard outside of the city. Here they met Tink, the auto shop owner who, judging by his crazy and confused ramblings may have spent too much time by himself. A simple repair job on the Mortal Code’s vehicle turned into ambush as a Nomad gang forcibly took up residence in Tink’s shop and threatened him into helping them lure all manner of service seeking suckers to their doom. We pick up now…after the ambush. Where Tink finally found his opportunity to rid himself of his captures, helping in a big way to save the Mortal Code from being stripped for parts.
