Keppel Hill Reservoir was dated back as early as 1905 . Being a manmade reservoir , it was later on used in the 30s as a 5.2m deep swimming pool which later on got converted back to its original purpose. The reservoir had a drowning case in 1948 and was later on out of Singapore Maps in the 60s . It was only then rediscovered in 2014
