Coming up in our 2nd episode of the new series – ‘Freedom Rides 50th Anniversary’, our Journalist Ryan Liddle revisits the 50th year anniversary of the historical journey made by a group of University students led by Aboriginal activist Charles Perkins, who set off on a bus ride around regional New South Wales to expose racism and prejudice in regional NSW. The trip would prove to be a turning point in the Australian civil rights movement. Watch this episode on Monday 13 April at 5pm on SBS ONE and on Tuesday 14 April at 9pm on NITV.
