SENS Research Foundation's video: Prolonging Life Span - Judith Campisi - Rejuvenation Biotechnology 2016

Buck Institute for Research on Aging professor Judith Campisi provided an update on her world-leading studies in senescent cell biology, and the burgeoning evidence linking their accumulation in aging bodies to the onset of a host of age-related diseases – as well as their newly-identified role in amplifying the side-effects of chemotherapy and anti-retroviral drugs. Dr. Campisi goes on to discuss various methods being developed to eliminate such cells from the body, concluding with a cautionary note about the physiological importance of cellular senescence in wound healing.
