SLIME's video: Rabble Rousers- Dirty Tricks live MS Stubnitz 2009

Das Projekt "The Rabblerousers" wurde 2008 ins Leben gerufen vom amerikanischen Sänger, Gitarristen und Songwriter Bill Collins mit der Unterstützung von Gary "Chops" MacConnie (Banjo/Mandoline), Elf (Lead Guitar/ Slime), Andy Merck (Bass / Velvetone) und Ray"Termite" DeVaryo (Drums / Velvetone). Inspiriert von der Internationalen Arbeiter- und Gewerkschaftsbewegung hat Bill eine Reihe Songs geschrieben um der Bewegung sowohl in den USA als auch in Europa, einen neuen Soundtrack zu verpassen und auf diese Weise einen kleinen Teil zur Unterstützung beizutragen. Einige der Songs sind geschrieben worden, bevor Elf ( Gitarrist bei den Mimmi's und Slime ) Bill auf die Idee gebracht hat, eine Band zu gründen um das Material mit elektrischen Gitarren und Drums/Bass einzuspielen. Die 15 Songs wurden im Bremer Tonstudio "Chateau Aux Etoiles" aufgenommen, in dem auch schon "Velvetone" und die "Dimple Minds" ihre letzten Alben produziert haben. Herausgekommen ist dabei eine explosive Mischung aus Irish Folk, Punkrock, Country und Rock'n Roll, die den geneigten Hörer, wie Bill Collins so schön sagt, dazu bringt "TO STAND UP TOGETHER, FIGHT BACK AND SING ALONG". Das Album wurde vervollständigt mit 1 Song den Bill und Gary nur mit Akkustikgitarre und Banjo/Mandoline in ihrer Heimatstadt New Haven/Connecticut aufgenommen haben und erschien im Herbst 2009.
