Bob Klacza reviews the development of a small vented two way speaker system using a 6-1/2" Peerless WR-180, now available as a Tymphany HDS-P830874, and a VIFA XT25TG30-04 dual concentric 1" tweeter, now available as a Tymphany XT25TG30-04. A Behringer DCX-2496 Loudspreaker Management system will be used for crossover, driver time alignment, EQ, and overload distortion control. A Rane MA-3 will be used as the amplifier. Measurements were made with a recently calibrated Earthworks M30 Measurement Microphone. Unmounted driver components are shown. Finished speaker is 15" High, by 8 1/2" Wide by 8 " Deep, with a little less than 0.4 CU. FT. internal volume.
