Four German teachers flew on the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) as Airborne Astronomy Ambassadors. Flying on SOFIA as Airborne Astronomy Ambassadors lets teachers experience world-class astronomy first-hand, and gives them tools to inspire their students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math.
