NEW MUSIC FOR FLUTE AND PIANO: trailer The Resound project presents studio recordings of four new works for flute and piano, commissioned and performed by Hannah Darroch (flute) and Andrew Crooks (piano). The commissioned composers were Pieta Hextall, Gemma Peacocke, Sarah Ballard and Jasmine Lovell-Smith. Creative New Zealand funded the project as part of its COVID-19 response Arts Continuity Grants. These miniatures, bursting with flavour and variety, were recorded at St Andrew’s On The Terrace in November 2020, with Graham Kennedy engineering and producing the audio.
