BRIGID BISLEY: Glimmer of Blue Brigid Bisley composed ‘Glimmer of Blue’ at Te Henga on the west coast of Auckland. It is a reflective work which, “contemplates light, distance, long horizons, happiness, emptiness, yearning: images of a far off glimmering sea or sky.” The strings of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and vibraphonist Lenny Sakofsky are conducted by Hamish McKeich in this, our final film from the 2019 NZ Composer Sessions.
