SOUTHEND AVIATION's video: Vulcan XH558 Ground Run Experience

@✈ Vulcan XH558 Ground Run Experience
Hello and welcome to SOUTHEND AVIATION! Yesterday I bit the bullet (emptied my bank account) and attended the Vulcan to the Sky Trust's Vulcan Ground Run Event. The event costing £125 got you plenty of time around this cold war icon, however we were only given 2 howls. And lunch was in the form of cheap sausage rolls and crisps from Asda. Some gifts were handed out which included a certificate, and the VTTS 2023 Calendar (even though we're in March) and mine had marks and what looks to be misprints in it... Ear defenders were MANDATORY despite the event being called "Vulcan Ground Run Experience" and the staff were policing it... (One in particular was rather rude). I should point out as I know I'll get the odd comment "they're protecting your ears, be grateful". Yes, while I see this point of view I have been to plenty other engine run events in the past where ear defenders have been optional. And quite frankly that's what makes the event to me, what's the point in going to an event to hear old school jet engines if you're just going to block out most of the sound? You may as well go to a cinema wearing bear goggles... Whether you agree with me or not one thing I think most will agree on is being threatened to by the staff, and I quote, "you will wear these or you'll go back on the coach" is not professional and as I've said above it's just plain rude. When I'm a paying customer spending £125 I do not expect to be spoken to like that. You can probably tell I'm not all that impressed with the event. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I "experienced" this but the negatives far out way the positives. More on that in my full POV video which I aim to have published this weekend, detailing all the cons I noticed during this event. Nether the less, here's the video, hope you all enjoy!
