SOUTHEND AVIATION's video: 10 Best Catches of 2020 London Southend Airport

@✈ 10 Best Catches of 2020 | London Southend Airport
Hello and welcome to SOUTHEND AVIATION! 2020, been a funny ole year ain't it? I don't think anyone could have predicted on January 1st 2020 just the shear endless chain of events that were to come! Fingers crossed we won't see another year quite like that one. Nonetheless, despite the shambles of a year I've still been able to go out and catch some rare, unique and cool aircraft! And that brings us to this video, the annually best catches of the year video! A sort of year in review if you like. Hope you enjoy! FROM THIS POINT PLEASE DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE VIDEO* Here's just a little summary of each catch and why I chose it for the list. 00:00 Intro 00:22 Catch 10. The Ukrain International E190 visited SEN twice in 2020. Both occasions were cruise ship worker charter flights. I chose the 2nd visit for the list as I preferred the view point. 01:19 Catch 9. The Titan A321! Originally arriving in February for storage due to the aviation demand falling. I caught this bird departing from SEN's 05 bound for Sofia. I'd say this was the first highlight of the year! 02:07 Catch 8. The Ex Braathens Avro RJ 100, originally arriving here for parting out. However sometimes fait steps in and this bird was saved! She flew to Cranfeild to undergo a C check then on to her new owners! 03:12 Catch 7. The short lived Widerøe E 190 E2 flights to Bergen! As it stands Widerøe will return this service in March 2021, let's hope so! Don't you just love that Vulcan howl from the PW1000G! 04:36 Catch 6. Southend's first A321NEO! Enough said! 05:55 Catch 5. Formula One in town! The striking livery of G-OFOM made a couple visits at SEN this year. I managed to capture the first one (she slipped through my fingers on a few other occasions 😆) 06:45 Catch 4. This bizzjet has got lines! The brand new Global 7500 made a quick visit to the drome in March. This would end up being my last visit to SEN before the UK's first lockdown! This video also became my most viewed of 2020 so thank you all for sharing! 08:41 Catch 3. The last "rare catch" of 2020. ZE708 arrived at SEN from MAN for crew training. Being a huge fan of the 146 that I am this girl just had to be on the list! 09:39 Catch 2. The A400M! This beast made 2 low approaches on Southend's RWY 05! The sight, the noise, the sight, just pure awesomeness! 10:31 Honourable mentions. Got quite a few on this list but didn't want them to go to waste! As part of honourable mentions I also included some of the sadder moments at SEN. Pretty clear why they were sad when you see them... 15:17 Catch 1. It'll come as no surprise... The Avro Vulcan XL426 steals the show yet again! I included clips from both the ground run and fast taxi videos just coz why not!
