I found a cool old portable CRT TV at the local tip shop that I really wanted, it had woodgrain vinyl and everything but they wanted 15 dollars for it so I said "15 dollars, are you joking?" and they said "no" so I bought this rusted shut bevel gauge for a dollar instead. The double vinegar boiler worked pretty good, I heated it up a few times a day over a few days. It came up nice but doesn't lock as well as I would like it to, that might be normal for this type of locking system. I added some washers under the wingnut to hopefully yeild more clamping force for the same nut torque but it didn't help much.
