_Unfair_UFM _Imaginary_UFM Link for filing grievances: https://pgportal.gov.in/Signin Matter to be sent: Respected Sir/Madam, This is to bring to your notice that Staff Selection Commission conducted Tier 3 of CGLE 2018 in December, 2019. The exam was a descriptive examination, where the candidates were asked to write an essay and a formal letter, adding up to 100 marks. Now, SSC declared the results of CHSLE 2018 Tier 2 exam in February plunged the aspirants of not only CHSLE 2018 but also CGLE 2018 into agony and panic by disqualifying meritorious candidates of CHSLE 2018 due to apparent use of 'UnFair Means-Address and UnFair Means- Name'. This was done in an extremely unjust matter on the basis of ambiguous instructions. Unfortunately, SSC is adamant, as per their answers to both telephonic and RTI inquiries by students, that the same ruthless process of disqualification will be followed in the CGLE 2018 Tier 3 exam, whose result is scheduled to be declared in May 2020. It must be noted that SSC is considering dummy, generic details added by candidates in their letters such as house numbers in the form of 123, A/1 etc, colony names in the form of XYZ Colony etc and even pin-codes in the form of xxxxx or 123456 as UnFair Means. As is clear, these are all generic details which do not reveal personal identity and candidates in previous years of the CGLE examinations have added such generic details with excellent results. In-fact, CBSE and NCERT have prescribed in their established formats that students use such dummy details to complete an incomplete address. The various coaching institutes, offering coaching for CGLE Tier 3, also follow the CBSE and NCERT format and ask students to add such generic details. Since SSC does not publish a model format of writing informal or formal letters, candidates follow the CBSE and NCERT guidelines as well as previous year's checked copies, acquired through RTI. Suddenly this year, without any prior notification or corrigendum or instructions in the admit card, SSC has resorted to unjustly classifying these generic details as 'UnFair Means' which has caused incredible distress to the aspirants. I, along with every serious aspirant of CGLE 2018 and CHSLE 2018, earnestly request that you please consider our appeal and not let SSC disqualify meritorious candidates in such an unjust manner. The future of lakhs of Indian youth is in the Government's hands. Please do not let our hard work go in vain. I have attached a document, both in PDF and Word format, with this email detailing SSC's instructions, the point of view of the candidates as well as proofs of previous year's papers acquired through RTI which shows that SSC is following a different procedure for CGLE 2017 and CGLE 2018 despite the notification of the 2 exams being same. We would be ever grateful to you if you could please take some valuable time out of your busy schedule to go through any of the attached documents and help out thousands of candidates who are currently in despair. Humble Regards A CGLE 2018 candidate. Attachment: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NN-CzSZlbA8pN1NNUO46xC0KlHotkqQZ/view Hope you liked the video. Suggestions are most welcome.
