@Jeep Control arm adjustment and ARB Old Man EMU 2" lift on a 2005 Wrangler Unlimited
0:00 - Intro 1:09 - ARB Old Man EMU Springs 1:30 - Overview 1:55 - Disassembly 4:54 - Figure out Ride-height 7:39 - Figuring out axle-center 10:33 - Squaring up the axle 14:15 - Setting Caster 15:38 - Steering and axle clearance 19:40 - Installing the ARB Old Man EMU Springs 21:22 - Measuring for Shocks 22:26 - Rear suspension Summary 22:47 - Wrap-Up I'm finally investing in a real suspension for the LJ! And going through a Short Arm Jeep Control Arm Adjustment! ARB Old Man EMU 2" springs, Clayton Offroad adjustable control arms, and Bilstein 5100 shocks! Oh and a radiator.. Don't ask. :P I went with the ARM OME Lj front 2" springs, and read 2" Heavy Duty springs. I carry a lot of trail gear so the HD springs seemed like the right choice. I ended up with about 1" more lift in the rear when loaded, and unloaded about 2.5" higher in the rear! If you're considering these springs, DEFINITELY think about how much weight you carry around. if you spend most of your time unloaded don't get the HD springs!
