SXS Collaboration's video: Toroidal event horizon in equal mass BBH merger

@Toroidal event horizon in equal mass BBH merger
This video shows the first event horizon with the topology of a torus found in a numerical simulation of merging black holes. The black holes have equal masses and no spin, with total mass M. The duration of the video is 0.7 M, or about 4 microseconds for a binary with total mass equal to the sun's mass. For more information about the binary or the methodology, please see our website or our paper https://www.black-holes.org/for-researchers/event-horizon-topologies.
