Sick of Adventure Mode yet? Of course not! We actually wrap up four stages in this video, but I've changed my focus and am now heading out to unlock the missing characters that are still out there. This is also the first time I get to use Gannondorf, and immediately go for his level 2 weapon. More Heart Pieces and more Heart Containers are also collected. First up, Zelda is in a mission to defeat enemies. "All attacks are devastating", which means that you should not get hit at all. Thankfully, this is simple if you decide to use the Baton. Strong attack sends a ground of small tornadoes that spread out in front of Zelda. On missions like these, the small tornadoes shred up enemies in one hit, making this a potential way to grind KOs in a short amount of time! Throw in dodge cancelling and you can spam the heck out of the move to quickly take everything out. I opt not to do it too much and try to manipulate the tornado portion a bit. Next, a Gannondorf-restricted mission to "Defeat the Big Poe Forces". This is a bit of an odd one since it has Gannondorf rushing out to save Darunia and some Hylian Soldiers from Poes. I'm pretty sure that's the last thing he would ever want to do, but Adventure Mode care not for these things. He can obtain the Swords of Darkness by obtaining an A-rank on this stage. Less than ten hearts of damage and a clear in under fifteen minutes with 1,200 KOs will grant you the weapon. There are two Skulltulas here as well, so it would be wise to try and get used to taking no more than 4 hearts of damage. I'd just like to say that Gannondorf is a true powerhouse in this game. His attacks all have pretty wide range and his use of the Darkness meter all factors into his Strong Attack, which does massive area-of-effect Darkness damage to all enemies in the vicinity. This move breaks Weak Point Gauges, and can even activate Darkness instantly to help you bring on the pain. I made an exception for Gannondorf and gave him the Naryu's Love I badge because many of his combo attacks are slow. He would be getting interrupted constantly without it, especially from strong attack with its 1.2 second delay to execute. You can hold the strong attack button during certain points of his combo attacks to pause the move and build the Darkness gauge. Each combo attack builds the gauge and he possesses one of the best crowd-clearing moves in the game with his C6, striking away massive hordes of enemies in one large swing. Naturally, this is not a move you can spam because you are vulnerable until it hits and that takes about 3 seconds to resolve. Mr. Dorf here is probably on par with Midna for best damage, despite the fact that he has a base weapon AND he started off at level 1! Yeah, you don't even need to level him up, the first few stages will do that for you! Anyhow, third stage here features a simple "Defeat all enemies". But I largely skipped this because I don't have the reward available due to a character not being unlocked. So I will come back and show that stage later. It's a fairly difficult stage since Dark Agitha and just regular Agitha have a lot of health for some reason. The fourth stage to wrap up with is to "Defeat all the Giant Bosses within the time limit". You have to defeat two King Dodongos in 10 minutes, which is not hard. Just use a character that has a water weapon and go to town. Agitha heads for the Kind Dodongo you don't fight at first. But the AI doesn't know how to fight bosses, just keep them at bay while dealing chip damage. Onscreen they don't even attack it, so she really has no point in being in this stage...
