Saestrol's video: Hyrule Warriors v1 0 - Adventure Mode - Section I

@Hyrule Warriors v1.0 - Adventure Mode - Section I
The ninth section of Adventure Mode focuses on unlocking, and then using Ghirahim. He is something of an opposite to Fi and is a very, VERY often misunderstood character (game play wise). Just like everybody else, he gets better when his moves are unlocked. He's more gimmicky kinda like Fi, but in a different way. But this guy will be pretty nerfed for awhile, which really sucks for me. You see, every character has their badge tree begin with a specific badge that unlocks the rest. For the attack category, this is the Kokiri Sword Attack Badge I which adds to the warrior's available attacks. Until you get this badge, you can't upgrade anything else such as Additional Special Attack Gauges, Extended Focus Spirit Time, Faster Weak Point Gauge Depletion etc. In Ghirahim's case, you need a material that comes from a specific foe... that you have fought before, but drops a different material he needs. And it seems to only come from Legend Mode, a later stage I haven't played yet. Because of this, I might have to change my plans and go back to it much sooner. I don't think I like not being able to use hit attacks to the fullest, and he really needs those attack badges to work well. I can still use him well enough, but it's not nearly as fun. Despite all this, we gloss over one of the more difficult mission types where you defeat the Commanders of two armies. You have to defeat both the Enemy and the Rogue forces. These battles would be so much more interesting if there were more a Melee a trois, rather then "Two different enemies want your base dead". The mechanics for this stage type are really put you at a disadvantage. Captains (who are effectively generals) from both armies will first target one of your allies, who will inevitably be defeated. After that, they will go straight for your Allied Base, which is strangely placed between the Enemy and Rouge bases. Now when a captain of one army is defeated, a captain/warrior from the other army gets a permanent morale boost. Vice versa also can happen. And this leads to the main problem with the level: High Morale enemies crushing your base. When the "general" of an army is defeated, then they will summon reinforcements of 2 captains with high morale that head for your base, and WILL capture it if ignored. They do this every few minutes, meaning that commander needs to be defeated at some point soon. You have two choices on these stages with respect to an A-Rank. First method is to try and wipe out one of the commanders as fast as possible. Second is to defeat each and every single captain/warrior from both sides to limit the high morale enemies going after your base. This does include the "generals" and if done wrong means you will have constant respawning high morale enemies from both sides always vying for your base, which is pretty frustrating to handle by yourself. One of these stages involves Zelda later and it's a massive pain to get an A-rank on...
