Sailing Green Coconut Run's video: Ep 2: Engine Oil Breakdown - Scorpion Bay Mexico

@Ep 2: Engine Oil Breakdown - Scorpion Bay, Mexico
Sailing cruisers call it the "Sleigh Ride": going downwind with vigorous NW winds on the Baja Peninsula, sailing from California to Cabo San Lucas. We're halfway down the 1000 mile stretch, and sadly part with our visiting crew member Matt, who grabs a midnight bus back to the States at the dusty port of Bahia Tortuga (a popular pit-stop for sailors, known as Turtle Bay). In a frenzied rush to catch the trickles of a south swell, we sail for Scorpion Bay overnight. Inside the calm bight of Baja, where the morning breeze is dead, we come to a halt with our first major boat breakdown... but redemption is ohhh soo sweet. Be in the inner circle...! Get exclusive updates about the voyage and this video series: http://www.patreon.com/greencoconutrun The Green Coconut Run is a unique, cooperative sailing trip: it is a 3 year group voyage where visitors join for a week or more along the route. Sailing our 42 foot trimaran, usually with four to six crew aboard, we surf, dive, and explore hard to reach coastlines from California to Tahiti. Read about us: http://www.greencoconutrun.com
