We're halfway down the 1000 mile stretch, and sadly part with our visiting crew member Matt, who grabs a midnight bus back to the States at the dusty port of Bahia Tortuga (a popular pit-stop for sailors, known as Turtle Bay). In a frenzied rush to catch the trickles of a south swell, we sail for Scorpion Bay overnight.
