When I started out on this fiberglass sailboat repair, I was aware of some soft spots on the cabin top, and some obvious failures in the cockpit floor. I was not looking forward to taking on this part of the project. I could guarantee clouds of fiberglass dust, and evenings with prickly itchy skin. The floor replacement delivered all these things in spades, but after several failures, together with much sweat and blood, the cockpit floor was ready to install.
